About

WinterSport is an independent guide to ice sports: learning to skate, figure skating, youth and adult ice hockey, rinks and ice, gear, and how competitions work. The guides are written for skaters, players and parents, and organised in six topics. We are an editorial outlet, independent and not affiliated with any rink, arena, league, or company.

What this site is — and isn’t

WinterSport is a content website, not a rink, arena, club, or business. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any ice rink, skating arena, facility, league, or company — including any business with a similar name. We do not operate a venue, sell ice time, run programs, or provide any in-person services. Nothing here should be read as information about a particular facility’s schedule, prices, membership, or location.

How it is written

Articles are AI-assisted and editorially reviewed before publication. Our aim is to explain the sport clearly for skaters, players, parents, and fans. Nothing here is professional, medical, or safety advice — for coaching or training decisions, consult a qualified instructor.
